Bharatpur metropolis provides school buses to community schools



BHARATPUR: Two community schools in Bharatpur Metropolitan City have got school buses provided by the metropolis in its bid to increase education quality in public schools.

Dhaddaghari Secondary School at the metropolis-16 and Sajhapur Secondary School at ward-28 purchased a school bus each at the cost of over Rs 2.1 million with budget released by the metropolis in the current fiscal year, 2021/22.

Earlier in the previous FY, the metropolis provided budget to five community schools in the city to purchase school buses.

The metropolitan city is at work to uplift education quality in community schools, said its mayor Renu Dahal, claiming that education sector in the city has been developed more than expected.

The metropolis has launched various schemes and programs to increase education quality in community schools, she said.

“Additional 7,000 students have been enrolled in community schools in the city in five years.”
