Bhanubhakta’s poems disseminate positive message: PM Deuba



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya is a great poet and a towering person in social and cultural awakening.

He has inspired the Nepali community to pursue a path of truth, compassion, non-violence, justice, peace and philanthropy through his literary work, he said in a message of best wishes on the occasion of Aadikavi Bhanubhakta’s 209th birth anniversary.

Aadikavi Bhanubhakta’s poems have depicted the situation of the then Nepali society and have disseminated a positive message for the society, he said.

The PM also praised him for his immense contribution to creating spiritual consciousness and awakening and establishing peace, harmony and tolerance in the Nepali society through his literary works.

He also offered his tribute to Aadikavi Bhanubhakta while wishing that may all Nepali languages continue thriving by getting inspired by life and character of Aadikavi Bhanubhakta.
