15-member team announced for ACC Women’s T20 Cricket Championship



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 15-member team under captainship of Rubina Chhetri for the upcoming ACC Women’s T20 Cricket Championship.

The 15-member team comprises Captain Chhetri, Vice-Captain Indu Barma, Sita Rana Magar, Jyoti Pandey, Kabita Kunwar, Asmina Karmacharya, Kabita Joshi, Mamata Chaudhary, Manisha Upadhyaya, Doli Bhatta, Bindu Rawal, Sangita Rai, Apsari Begum, Kajol Shrestha and Sabnam Rai.

The ACC Women’s T-20 Cricket Championship is scheduled to be held in Malaysia on June 17-25.

Nepal is in Group ‘B’ in the championship along wit Bahrain, Bhutan, Hong Kong and Kuwait.

Similarly, host Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Singapore and UAE are also in the Group ‘B’.
