Ballot boxes vandalized in Dakneshwari, Saptari



SAPTARI:  A group of irate people has vandalized the ballot boxes at Dakneshwari Municipality of Saptari.

According to Chandra Mani Gyawali, the Chief Election Officer of Saptari, voting has been suspended at Hariarwa polling station after ballot boxes were vandalized.

The controversy erupted after an old woman accused the election staff of stamping a different sign than the one she requested.
