UML and RPP Nepal to form electoral alliance for local elections



KATHMANDU: KP Oli-led CPN-UML and Kamal Thapa-led Rashtriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP Nepal) have agreed to form an electoral alliance and contest under UML’s election symbol the ‘Sun’.

In a program organized at UML’s Thapathali-based central office, the top leaders of CPN-UML and RPP Nepal Chairman Thapa agreed to form an alliance and contest together in the upcoming local level elections on May 13.

UML leader Devendra Dahal and RPP Nepal leader Sushil Kumar Shrestha signed the agreement in the presence of  UML leaders Bishnu Poudel, Ishwor Pokhrel and RPP Nepal Chair Thapa among many others.

Now, RPP Nepal will contest under UML’s election symbol now.
