Prachanda rules out immediate possibility of alliance with UML

BIRATNAGAR: Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that there will be no immediate alliance with the CPN-UML.

Prachanda, however, said he would continue to work with other Leftist forces.

“There is no possibility of immediate agreement and cooperation with the KP Oli-led UML,” said Prachanda, who attended the party’s meeting and training in the party’s province No. 1 on Sunday.

He said that if there is to be an alliance, it will be done with the ruling coalition during the election.

“As far as possible, we will stand on our own two feet and face the elections,” he added.

He also urged the main opposition UML not to obstruct the parliament.

“The UML is obstructing the parliament to justify its previous decision to dissolve the House,” he added.
