Jajarkot jeep mishap: Death toll reaches 11



JAJARKOT: The number of passengers killed in a jeep accident in Jajarkot on Monday afternoon has reached 11.

Eleven passengers died when the ill-fated jeep (Karnali Province 2001 Ch 0429) fell some 200 meters down the road in Bhirpati of Chedagad municipality, police said.

Two seriously injured in the accident breathed their last on the way to the hospital while one died while undergoing treatment.

SSP Madhav Shrestha confirmed the death of passengers in the accident.

The passengers were heading toward Jajarkot to attend a wedding ceremony.
