Election code of conduct becomes inactive



KATHMANDU: The election code of conduct-2079 issued by the Election Commission (EC) for the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and Province Assembly (PA) has become inactive from today.

The elections to the HoR and PA were held on November 20.

According to the EC, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, all ministries and constitutional bodies have been informed in this regard.

The election code of conduct was brought into force from September 28 across the country as per the Clause 1 (2) of the Election Code of Conduct-2079.
