PM Deuba reaches Chitwan to attend various programs



CHITWAN: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has arrived in Chitwan to address an election assembly organized by democratic-left alliance in Chitwan today.

Prime Minister Deuba arrived at Bharatpur Airport by helicopter. He is visiting the house of Nepali Congress Central Committee member Tek Prasad Gurung.

Gurung’s wife Shir Maya Gurung had passed away on November 6. PM Deuba is scheduled to go to Gurung’s house to extend condolences.

After Gurung’s house, PM will reach the house of social and political personality of Gaindakot late Tilak Sapkota to extend condolence to the bereaved family members. Sapkota passed away on November 9.

Prime Minister Deuba after returning from Gaindakot would address the election assembly to be organized at Bharatpur-based Guest House ground.

CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, CPN-Unified Socialist Vice Chair Keshav Lal Shrestha, Executive Chair of Rastriya Janamorcha, Rashmi Raj Nepali, among other leaders would address the election assembly, said coordinator of CPN (Maoist Centre), Chitwan, Ram Chandra Adhikari.

PM Deuba and other top leaders are scheduled to return Kathmandu today itself.
