Prabhu Shah conspired against UML conniving with ruling coalition: Shankar Pokhrel

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has accused leader Prabhu Sah of joining hands with the ruling coalition to conspire against UML.

Commenting on leader Sah’s candidacy as an independent candidate, Pokhrel said that Sah betrayed the party.

“Leader Sah was in the meetings held to form alliance with Janata Samajbadi  Party (JSP) and knew everything about the model of alliance; hence, its nothing more than an example of non-political conspiracy,” leader Pokhrel wrote on social media on Wednesday.

Then Standing Committee member of UML, Sah presented himself as an independent candidate and also prepared a different panel to contest against UML-JSP alliance in Madhes.

Sah labeled UML-JSP alliance as a betrayal to the martyrs of Gaur incident and vowed to make the alliance a failure.

Sah got eight candidates in House of Representatives and 17 more in Province Assembly file candidacy against UML-JSP alliance.
