UML-led government will be formed after election: Oli



JANAKPUR: CPN UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli claimed that the government led by his party will be formed after the elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.

Addressing the first Madhes Province Convention of the Nepal Intellectual Council in Janakpurdham on Monday, Oli, also the former Prime Minister, assured that development and prosperity related campaigns will be brought forward after the formation of the new government.

Insisting that his party must win the election to save the country, Oli asserted that his party was contesting the upcoming elections for the harmony and unity among people as well as to fulfill the aspiration of ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali’.

According to him, education, health care, job creation and modernization of agriculture plans were high on the agenda of his party.

He viewed that it would be an unfortunate for the country, democracy and development if the upcoming election fails to give the right government.

UML leaders Agni Kharel, Bishnu Rijal and others were also present at the event.

The convention will elect a new leadership for the Council.
