NC Prez Deuba calls CWC meeting for Saturday



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) for Saturday morning.

A meeting is to be held at the party central office in Sanepa at 9 am on Saturday.

NC Spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the meeting would discuss preparations for November 20 election, party registration for election purposes, the gathering of people’s representatives on August 15-16 and nationwide organization building campaign to be held from August 18 to September 9, among others.

The government has declared elections to the federal and provincial assemblies on November 20.
