Govt committed to all language and ethnic communities: Minster Karki



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said development of all language and ethnic communities was first and foremost for the country to prosper.

In his address at a program organized in Kathmandu Friday on the occasion of 31st anniversary of the Nepal Kushwaha Kalyan Samaj, Minister Karki, also the government spokesperson, stressed on the economic, social and cultural development of the grassroots community for creating base for prosperous Nepal.

“Country will prosper only when all-round development of different ethnic and lingual community people of the nation. For the country to prosper, development of mountain, hill and Terai was inevitable”, he stressed.

Minister Karki pledged to guarantee the rights of all communities in the country. All citizens have the equal role towards building the prosperous nation, he said, highlighting the role of the Kushwaha community to the country’s transformation.

Samaj Chairperson Tapeswor Mahato underlined the need of keeping reservation for Kushuwaha community for their equal participation in all state structures.
