Chinese ambassador Yanqi calls on Speaker Sapkota



KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has paid a courtesy call to Speaker Agni Prasad on Friday morning.

According to Speaker Sapkota’s Secretariat, the Speaker expressed happiness at Chinese support in Nepal’s development efforts and also reiterated Nepal’s commitment to One China Policy during the meeting.

Speaker Sapkota and Ambassador Yanqi had a meeting and discussion at the Speaker’s official residence in Lainchour.

In the meeting, Sapkota said that Nepal is aware of not allowing Nepali land to be used against neighboring countries.

The Chinese Ambassador affirmed that China will always firmly support Nepal’s independence, sovereignty and national integrity and will continue its support for national development.
