JSP row: Dr. Bhattarai’s camp holding a separate meeting



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Federal Council of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is holding a separate Central Committee meeting.

The Bhattarai-led camp is holding an extended meeting of the party’s Central Committee in Kathmandu today.

According to Biswadeep Pandey, a leader close to Baburam, the meeting, which will continue till Thursday, will discuss internal issues, and review local elections, organization, and future action plans.

He said that the agenda of the discussion has been sent to the office bearers, central members and members of the Federal Council.

Dr. Bhattarai is also preparing to present a political report on current issues at the meeting.

Similarly, Upendra Yadav’s group of JSP has convened a meeting of the Central Executive Committee in Birgunj from Thursday.

The party is caught in a quagmire of late with party Chairman Upendra Yadav and Dr. Bhattarai rigid to their respective stance.
