Sexagenarian woman electrocuted to death

UDAYAPUR: A woman was electrocuted while returning home after cutting grass at Todkepani in Katari Municipality-8 of the Udaipur district on Wednesday evening.

According to the Katari Area Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Gangamaya Khatri, 68.

She was returning home at around 4 pm carrying a heavy load of grass when she was electrocuted near an electricity pole.

Santosh Karki, head of the Katari-based Nepal Electricity Authority branch office, said that Khatri died due to an electric shock.
