Oli is on streets and we are leading the nation: CPN-US Chair Nepal



KATHMANDU: CPN-Unified Socialist (CPN-US) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli reached the streets due to his own arrogance and he along with others was leading the country.

“How did KP Oli, who was in government everywhere, reach the road?” he wondered at a program organized in Galchhi, Dhading, on Saturday. “KP Oli is on the streets today due to his own misguided intellect, his own working style and his arrogance. And we are leading the country now.”

He said Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba showed honesty towards the alliance amid UML Chairman Oli’s efforts to break the five-party alliance.

“KP Oli lured PM Deuba a lot to break this alliance; he tried to break our unity. People for a moment thought that Oli and Deuba were likely to form another alliance,” he said, adding, “But PM Deuba was loyal to the coalition. He (PM Deuba) told us that we had moved forward together in times of crisis and he would not hurt friendship amid crisis.”
