COVID-19 active case decline to 73 in Nepal in past 24 hours, no death in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 17 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 73 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday. There was no coronavirus-related death in the country in the last 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 30 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 43 from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as there was no coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours, the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,950 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu valley witnessed 17 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours with 12 cases in Kathmandu, two in Bhaktapur and three in Lalitpur district.

Currently, there are 5,050 active cases in the country as 193 infected patients recovered.
