KAHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) has recommended five colonels for promotion to the post of brigadier generals.
Those recommended to the post of brigadier generals are Colonels Purusottam Dhakal, Uttam Kumar Bista, Santosh Raj Pandey, Laxman Thapa of 26 Brigade and Surat Rawal of Military Intelligence Corpus.
Issuing a notice today, the NA has made recommendations for promotion in line with the Chapter 3 of the Military Service Regulations (Fourth Amendment), 2069 BS.
