Fire at the noodle factory comes under control after 10 hours



KAKADBHITTA: The fire at the Magmag Noodle Factory at Duhagadhi in Kakadvitta-Mechinagar-14 has been brought under control after about 10 hours.

According to Kakadbhitta police, it took about 10 hours for a dozen firefighters from Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari and Ilam to control the fire. T

The fire started at Manasha Thaifoods at around 4:30 am on Saturday.

Manasha Thaifoods had been producing noodles including cheese balls and Magmag noodles.

According to police the entire factory and the raw materials, manufactured goods and machines inside the factory were completely destroyed by the fire.

“There is nothing left of the fire,” the police said, adding, “We estimate that about one billion more have been damaged.”

The police are investigating further for details.
