Police nab two Indian looters in Banke

NEPALGUNJ: Banke police on Saturday arrested two Indian robbers who had been looting in various places of district with pistols.

Police have arrested Dambu Manihar, 26, of Rupaidiha Nibiya and Nizamuddin Kawadiya, 28, of Babagunj Babakuti India from Janaki-5, Budhiyagaun.

According to the police, they had looted 335,000 rupees in cash and gold from the house of Parshuram Sarki of Badaiyatal in Bardiya on January 13.

Similarly, Rs 50,000 cash and a motorcycle were looted from the house of Hari Prakash BK of Banke Khajura D village on January 31, police said. The motorcycle was found in near Badaiyatal in Bardiya the next evening.

According to the police, the investigation is underway.
