Two missing children found



JANAKPURDHAM: Police have found two children who had gone missing from Janakpurdham of Dhanusha and handed them over to their parents.

Dikhsant, the five-year-old son of Deepika Das, who went missing from Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolis-14 Manipal in Bariyarpatti Rural Municipality-2 of Siraha and Sonu Kumari, the six-year-old daughter of Budhanu Mukhiya of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-5 of Saptari have been found from Janakpurdham and handed over to their parents.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Basnet, Dikshant was found at Thapa Chowk in Janakpurdham-9 and Soni at Pul Chowk in Janakpurdham on Friday.

Police had launched a search operation after receiving information about the disappearance.

Meanwhile, Police have appealed for vigilance saying that the number of missing children has increased.

Police on Thursday arrested three people on charges of child abduction.
