Province 2 capital and name will be finalized on Jan 17: Minister Sah



JANAKPURDHAM: Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications and Information Technology of Province 2, Bharat Prasad Sah, has said that the name and capital of the province would be finalized on January 17.

Speaking at a program in Janakpur on Wednesday, Minister Sah said that the proposal regarding the name and capital of the province would be presented in the province assembly meeting scheduled on January 16 and it would be finalized on January 17 through voting.

He expressed the belief that the name and capital of the province would be finalized as province assembly members of all political parties have moral pressure for the same.

Minister Sah further said that the Province 2 government has been making necessary preparation to protect the life of the citizens from cold and cold wave, for which it has started distributing blankets to the people from poor and backward communities.
