KATHMANDU:  Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel has said that the Gandaki provincial government is ready to resolve the problems related to the community forestry.

Inaugurating the Silver Jubilee Program of the Chautari Community Forest Users Group at Devchuli Municipality-17 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) on Tuesday, he said the budget would be brought keeping the community forestry-related issues in priority in the coming days.

“There are several types of problems in the community forestry sector. The provincial government will take special initiative and make arrangement for budget for addressing these problems,” CM Pokharel said, expressing his determination to resolving the issues.

The Chief Minister said the provincial government has proceeded ahead with various welfare programmes as the government bearing the medical expenses of women suffering from breast cancer, providing Rs 50 thousand to families of those dying due to COVID-19, providing a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month to the children who lost their parents and sheltering the underprivileged and helpless persons in the Manav Sewa Ashram.
