KATHMANDU: General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Bharatraj Gautam has sent a reply to Supreme Court that he would offer the details of granting impeachment nullification letter to suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana to the Court while responding to the ‘show cause order’. Yet he did not give a clear answer in the letter.
Responding to the Constitutional Bench’s letter demanding his clarification on granting impeachment nullification, the General Secretary Gautam said that he would soon reply on the issue while answering to the Full Court’s query on the same.
“As the constitutional bench has issued a show cause order on the issue previously sought by the Full Court, I will offer the details to the Court,” he said in the letter.
Gautam sent a reply to Supreme Court Registrar Narayan Prasad Regmi’s Wednesday’s letter.
After General Secretary Gautam sent a letter to the Supreme Court stating that the impeachment against the suspended Chief Justice Rana was ineffective, the Constitutional Bench issued a show cause order against him.
