Unified Socialist designates responsibilities for election preparation



KATHMANDU: A ruling partner Unified Socialist has entrusted its central members with responsibilities for intensifying preparation in view of federal and provincial parliamentary elections announced for coming November 20.

The party’s Secretariat assigned general-secretary Dr Beduram Bhusal to develop the necessary criteria, processes and methods for picking possible candidates in the upcoming elections.

The party led by Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal designated the party office secretary and deputy general-secretary Gangalal Tuladhar with the responsibility of registering the party in the Election Commission.

Likewise, the party deputy general-secretary trio, Dr Tuladhar, Dr Bijaya Poudel and Prakash Jwala were entrusted with the responsibility for preparing the party’s election manifesto.
