NC Spokesperson Mahat calls to prioritize rescue and relief



KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of the Nepali Congress, Dr. Prakasharan Mahat, has demanded to provide relief to the people who have suffered due to monsoon-induced damage.

Spokesperson Mahat issued a statement and requested the government to focus on relief and rescue, saying that the floods and landslides caused by the incessant rains have caused great damage in the districts of Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and others.

He urged all the citizens staying in the risk zone to remain vigilant, and requested the various agencies of the government to monitor and rebuild the structures like roads, bridges, water supply projects, irrigation projects and other structures as soon as possible.
