Visiting CPC foreign department chief Lui visits BP Museum



KATMANDU: The visiting Communist Party of China (CPC) foreign department chief Liu Jianchao has visited BP Museum located at Gokarneshwor municipality-1.

CPC foreign department chief Liu also planted a sapling at the museum premises.

BP Koirala had spent a long time in the prison, which was converted into a museum later.

Museum Chairperson Parashuram Pokharel said that Liu had observed the museum with interest.

On the occasion, he recalled the post-earthquake reconstruction, Nepal-China friendly relations and contribution of BP Koirala.

Liu also signed the visitor’s book kept in the museum.

Saying he has understood BP Koirala during learning, chief Lui mentioned he got the opportunity to know the elected Prime Minister closely in course of visiting the Museum.

Chairperson Pokharel briefed CPC foreign department Chief, Lui, about different aspects of BP’s life.
