Bill related to Constitutional Council should be withdrawn: Dr. Koirala

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that the bill related to the Constitutional Council should be withdrawn.

Talking to the media at the party office, Sanepa, on Monday, Dr. Koirala said, “We had opposed the Oli government when it had brought the ordinance on the Constitutional Council. It is wrong to bring that ordinance again in the form a bill this time by incumbent government. The bill should be immediately withdrawn.”

The government has recently registered a bill related to the Constitutional Council in the National Assembly Secretariat.
