NC holding central working committee meeting

Koirala-led faction to demand reviewing government's performance



KATHMANDU: Ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has called a meeting of its central working committee (CWC) today afternoon.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss and review the government’s performance and give full shape to its sister organizations, among other issues.

Meanwhile, the disgruntled faction led by party leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala faction is likely to raise the issue of what it said “a serious review of the government’s work and actions” at the meeting.

The Koirala-led faction has been demanding a serious review of the working style of the government at today’s meeting.

Likewise, supporters of the Koirala faction are also likely to stage a protest during the meeting outside the party office at Sanepa demanding the completion of the working committee of the sister organizations.
