Nepal sees 21 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 21 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 18 were detected through the RT-PCR method and three through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,788 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 3,070 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 718 through the Antigen method.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.

Currently, there are 187 active cases in the country as 16 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
