Man killed in Kalanki bike-tipper collision



KATHMANDU: A person has died in a road accident at Kalanki in Kathmandu.

The driver of the motorcycle, Ba 80 Pa 6373, was killed in a collision with a tipper, Ba 5 Kha 7345, at around 3 am today.

The deceased has been identified as Diwakar Adhikari, 45, of Dhading. He succumbed to his injuries at the Teaching Hospital in the morning, police said.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the tipper driver into custody.
