Car-hit kills three including two minors in Nepalgunj



KATHMANDU: Three people have died after being hit by a car in Nepalgunj on Sunday night.

The deceased have been identified as Samina Idrisi, 65, Kamis Idrisi, 5, and Ali Idrisi, 5, of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-11, said Police Inspector Himalaya Shah of District Traffic Police Office, Banke

The accident took place when an ill-fated car, Pradesh 3-01-23 Cha 8481,  struck them while they were walking on the road in Nepalgunj-11.

Critically injured Samina, Kamis, and Ali, who were taken by the car driver himself to the hospital, breathed their last in the course of treatment, informed the police.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking driver Indra Bahadur Thapa of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-10 under control.
