Call to make Nepal Sanskrit University technology-friendly



KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has said the Nepal Sanskrit University should progress through optimum utilization of information technology.

Addressing the 74th Assembly of the Nepal Sanskrit University here on Thursday, Minister Poudel asked the university officials to unveil innovative ideas along with the use of technology for the institutional growth.

The Minister was of the view that we need to reframe our education’s traditional style and structure, and learn lessons from the impacts of the corona pandemic on education sector.

Likewise, he said the university should remain active in innovation, research and protection of our unique health systems like Ayurved, Yog and natural medicine.

On the occasion, Minister Poudel said he was positive to the Nepal Sanskrit University’s plan to organise an International Sanskrit Conference in 2024.
