Centenarian Joshi’s health improving, but not out of danger



KATHMANDU: Health of centenarian person Satya Mohan Joshi has improved as compared to Sunday, it has been said. But, he is not out of danger, said KIST Medical College, Lalitpur.

Joshi is receiving oxygen therapy at the hospital after his heartbeat increased on Sunday. As a result, his health has somehow improved, said the hospital director Prof Dr Suraj Bajracharya.

The 103-year-old culture expert was admitted to the hospital 18 days ago after he suffered from health problems.

He later tested dengue positive. His health improved seven days after his admission to the hospital.

The hospital has been giving updates about his health on a daily basis from Sunday, said Bajracharya.

Joshi has contributed immensely to Nepal’s culture.
