Rain-triggered landslide obstructs Bhimdutta Highway

KAILALI: Bhimdutta Highway has been obstructed in Kailali’s Godabari municipality-4 due to incessant rainfall and subsequent landslide.

Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Bed Prakash Joshi shared that a three-member police team headed by ASI Dil Bahadur Bogati has been deputed there.

Efforts are underway to clear the debris and resume the highway operation, Joshi added.

The rainfall has caused damages to the rural road of Sudurpaschim province and also obstructed the vehicular movement to and from seven mountainous districts.
