NEPSE declines by 5.11 points on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has continued its downward trend and declined by 5.11 points on Wednesday.

The stock market which declined by 0.25 percent and reached to 2057.68 points today.

The transaction amount, which had been continuously exceeding 2 billion in recent times, has dropped from 2 billion on Wednesday. In the market which had a turnover of 2.81 billion on Tuesday, 4.644 thousand 844 shares were bought and sold on Wednesday, and facilitating the turnover of Rs 1.93 billion.

The Citizens Investment Fund had the highest turnover of 106.879 million while Shivam Cement had a turnover of 688.48 million.

Shares of 182 companies were traded in the market on Wednesday.
