277 applications filed for 27 positions in High Court



KATHMANDU: A total of 277 applications have been filed for 27 positions in the High Court.

For the appointments, the Judicial Council announced vacancies for the court by making standards.

The vacancy announcement was in various categories including district judge, legal practitioner, employees in judicial group and government advocate group and other categories.

The applications (76 for district judges, 174 for legal practitioners and 46 for other categories) included 55 men and 19 women.

Shortlisting will take place soon, said the Council’s spokesperson Man Bahadur Karki.
