KATHMANDU: A young woman was found dead in a Butwal hotel room.
Sadiksha Gurung, 21, booked Room No 105 at Purbi Palpali Galdhali Hotel in Butwal on Friday and stayed in the room with a man that night.
The next day, she was found hanging in the room.
The deceased has been identified a resident of Butwal Ward No. 2, police said.
The relatives of the deceased have taken the body to Lumbini Provincial Hospital for postmortem.
The man accompanying Sadiksha had absconded after the incident and has been arrested, police said.
Further investigation is underway, they added.
The man’s identity has not been disclosed.
