According to a UML source, Subedi, who won Bagmati Province Assembly seat from Chitwan Constituency No 2B, is going to be the mayoral candidate of the party in the May 13 local election.

A meeting of the UML’s Bharatpur Metropolitan Committee was held on Sunday to recommend the name of the mayoral candidate and the committee has prepared to unanimously recommend Subedi’s name to the mayor.
