President appeals to reducing road accidents



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has drawn the attention of the parties concerned to pay special attention to reducing road accidents.

Expressing sorrow over the death of 15 passengers in a bus accident at Madi of Sankhuwasabha on Thursday,  President Bhandari extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

She also wished speedy recovery of the injured.

In a tweet, the president said, “I would like to draw the attention of the parties concerned to take necessary measures to reduce road accidents.”
