NRB directs banks to keep ATM doors open,  and to hold talks, seminars  virtually



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a four-point directives to banks and financial institutions for secure banking services.

Issuing a notice on Monday, NRB directed all the banks to keep their ATM doors open and conduct talks, seminars and assemblies virtually as far as possible.

The national bank of the country also instructed them to provide services maintaining physical distance and warding off the crowd.

Similarly,  it urged all banks and financial institutions to take necessary measures to reduce the risk of infection in the manpower and service recipients by abiding the health safety protocols issued by the government and the World Health Organization (WHO).
