Sale of alcohol prohibited in Nawalparasi East from today



NAWALPARASI EAST- Authorities have prohibited the sale and distribution of alcohol in Nawalparasi East from Wednesday.

The decision to this effect was made targeting the elections to the House of Representatives and the State Assembly to be held on November 20.

According to a statement issued by the District Administration Office, a ban has been imposed on the sale, transportation and consumption of alcohol during the election period as there is a possibility that unpleasant incidents may occur in the society and anti-election activities.

Chief of District Police Office Bhubaneshwar Tiwari informed that instructions have been given to the security units across the district to implement the decision to impose a complete ban on the sale, transportation and consumption of alcohol targeting the elections.
