NC General Secy Sharma registers his candidature from Jhapa 1



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma registered his candidacy for House of Representatives election from Jhapa constituency 1.

The leader reached the Election Officer’s office in Mechinagar from Bhadrapur Airport this afternoon and registered his candidacy.

NC Jhapa Vice-president Keshav Raj Pandey proposed his candidacy and regional President Indra Kumar Budhathoki seconded the nomination.

Similarly, Agni Kharel, Jhapa in-charge of the CPN UML, has filed his candidacy from the same constituency.

According to the Election Office Jhapa, Region No. 1 has 120,375 registered voters.
