Lal Babu Pandit and Dr. Shekhar Koirala to contest against each other in Morang 6



BIRATNAGAR: CPN-UML leader and former minister Lal Babu Pandit and Nepali Congress (NC) leader  Dr. Shekhar Koirala are to contest against each other in Morang 6 again.

UML leader Pandit registered his candidacy for the House of Representatives (HoR) election to be held on November 20.

Leader Pandit went to the office of the Election Officer at the District Coordination Committee and registered his candidacy on Sunday.

Likewise, NC senior leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala, on behalf of the ruling coalition, registered his candidacy for HoR member from the same region. He was defeated by UML leader Pandit in the 2017 election.

With the registration of candidatures, it is certain that this time also there will be another election contest between the two leaders.
