Nepal to mourn demise of Queen Elizabeth II for three days

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II for three days.

A decision in this regard was made by the cabinet meeting held on Friday.

The Government of Nepal expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Queen Elizabeth II and wished for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Cabinet sources said that it has been decided to observe three days of mourning from September 10-12 in honor of the Queen and to fly the national flag at half-mast in government offices and Nepali embassies and missions abroad.
