Nepal sees 152 new coronavirus cases, two deaths in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 152 new cases of coronavirus and two deaths in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 110 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 42 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,294 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 1,186 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 2,108 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 2,448 active cases in the country as 133 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

One coronavirus related death has been recorded in the past 24 hours, and with this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country climbs to 12,012 to date.
