Traffic police take action against 2,449 for violating traffic rules in Valley

KATHMANDU: Traffic police have taken action against 2,449 motorists in one day for violating traffic rules in Kathmandu Valley.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, they were taken action for violating traffic rules.

The Office said 98 people were found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, 59 people violating lane discipline, and 75 people traffic lights, among others.

Likewise, traffic police took action against 173 people for parking in footpath, 103 drivers for unnecessary honking, among others.
