Two fall into septic tank, die



CHITWAN: Two persons have died after falling into a septic tank in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-19, Tamu Tole Wednesday evening.

He died while cleaning a septic tank at the house of a local Rampyari Gurung.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the deceased have been identified as Chhatiram Chaudhary, 24, of Shivaraj municipality-9 and Daktar Chaudhary, 23, of Kapilvastu alias Ramu.

Chhatiram died when he suddenly slipped and fell into the tank while cleaning. Daktar Chaudhary, who went down into the septic tank to rescue Chhatiram, the brother-in-law by a distant relation, also died, District Police Office, Chitwan said.

They had been cleaning septic tanks in and around Chitwan for a long time.
