Floods damage temporary bridges in Melamchi



SINDHUPALCHOWK: Floods following incessant rains have damaged temporary structures on the Melamchi River.

Last night’s rain damaged a temporary Hume pipe bridge and a culvert in Melamchi Municipality-11.

The road has been closed as soon as the temporary bridge was damaged.

Transportation service has been disrupted due to damage to the temporary culvert connecting Melamchi Municipality Ward No. 7 and 11.

According to Melamchi Municipality Chief Aitman Tamang, the damaged bridge would be repaired and operated for the time being.
